I redesigned MOD Lighting’s website, transitioning from Shopify to a headless solution with a sleek, luxury design in black, white, and gold. Collaborative wireframing and interactive features enhanced the user experience, driving over $1M in sales last year.

To kick off the project, I analyzed MOD Lighting's previous Shopify website and identified the essential components for a large-scale e-commerce site. This included pages like Home, PLP, PDP, Cart, and FAQs, as well as features such as product filtering, delivery information, and detailed product specifications (e.g., light temperature, quantity). I also explored their branding, reviewing their fonts and visual style to align the design with their identity.

Guided by MOD Lighting's brand book, I crafted a sleek, luxurious design using black, white, and gold. Playfair Display was chosen for headings and Lato for body text to balance sophistication and readability. The design emphasized high-end aesthetics with interactive elements like hover effects and sliding banners to enhance user engagement.

Post-launch, the client conducted A/B testing to optimize performance and sales. This included trust-building B2B logo banners, custom search banners, experimental landing pages, a 3D light color viewer, and testing a side cart versus a full-page cart. These refinements contributed to over $1 million in sales last year.
