Q'ART

Q'ART

I designed a vibrant and dynamic website for Q’ART, the NGO behind Meeting of Styles, Prishtina’s renowned street art festival. The design reflects their creative, rule-breaking spirit with bold colors, unconventional navigation, and interactive animations that celebrate their artistic impact on the city. While the design is finalized, the website is currently awaiting development

I was familiar with Q'ART through Meeting of Styles, the largest street art festival in the country, where graffiti artists transform Prishtina’s walls into stunning works of art. When the NGO approached me, I knew I wanted to create something that felt as special as the impact they’ve had on the city. I envisioned a vibrant, dynamic website that would showcase their colorful festivals, celebrate their cultural contributions, and inspire others to see the city through a new lens.

After discussions with the NGO’s director, we defined the core pages: Home, Campaigns, About, and a strong CTA highlighting their project that revitalizes neglected urban spaces through art. Knowing these are rule-breaking artists who embrace creativity, I reflected their spirit with an unconventional vertical navigation bar. Inspired by a story of their meeting with the mayor—where they showed up in baggy trousers and hoodies—I designed the menu to expand in a bold, unexpected way, breaking design norms intentionally.

Color was central to this project, so I selected a bold red-pink as the accent color, complemented by softened black and white tones for contrast. To keep the design fresh and ever-evolving, I proposed a hero banner and theme colors that would change monthly—featuring green, orange, and purple variations alongside the initial red. This approach reflects Q’ART’s dynamic energy and ensures the site feels alive and in sync with their artistic vision.

To bring the design to life, I incorporated subtle interactions, scroll animations, and engaging hover effects that echo the creativity of the organization. These micro-animations create a smooth, interactive experience that invites users to explore and appreciate Q’ART’s work. While the design phase is complete, the development is currently on hold, awaiting the next steps from their team.
